Moving a piano can be a difficult and dangerous task.  You may even cause damage to your piano when you try moving it yourself.  A typical piano weigths around 500 pounds! Basic Charges

Acoustic upright piano up to 52"

$ 150.00

Acoustic grand piano up to 6'1"

$ 250.00

Grand piano between 6'1" and 7'5"

$ 350.00

 

Additional Charges

In addition to the basic charges detailed above the following additional charges may apply.

Stairs with over 5 steps (per house)    $ 50.00
Kilometer charge after 25km    $ 2.00/km
Re-delivery / nobody home charge    $ 150.00
Upright pianos taller then 52"    $ 50.00
Old piano disposal charge    $ 100.00
Waiting time per 1/2 hour    $ 50.00

Important Notes

  1. We can not move grand pianos taller then 7'5" or more then $ 25,000 value.
  2. We can not move pianos up or down spiral staircases.
  3. We can not store pianos overnight.
  4. We insure pianos at a rate of $ 2.00 per pound.
  5. All moves must be prepaid.  We accept credit card, debit, cash or certified cheques.
  6. To protect the safety of our piano movers Pianohouse Burlington Inc. reserves the right to refuse to move any piano for any reason.
